云登市推出物联网网络

云登市(Wyndham)正致力于成为智慧城市，并正在一步步进入下一阶段。市政府已经与一个网络运营商合作推出了一个新的物联网（IoT）传感器网络。

云登市与Thinxtra公司(物联网领域全球领导者Sigfox的澳大利亚网络运营商)合作，通过部署传感器网络，向市政府提供跨领域的实时数据，从而改变、进一步提高我们的工作方式。

市智能城市部主席安亚伦(Aaron An)议员表示，该网络将成为云登市建设未来智慧城市的支柱，使云登成为一个更适合的生活、居住、工作和旅游的地方。

“这个网络的部署使云登市在很多领域处于一个更好的位置。一开始我们将使这些技术应用于市政资产定位、环境监测和智能水资源管理等，”安议员说，“我们将能够看到实时的数据，使我们更好地了解市政情况，并更轻松地以数据为基础帮助市政厅做出决策。”

安议员表示，展望未来，该网络可以提供信息，帮助市政府解决很多其他方面的问题。“比如，通过简化停车授权和定位可用的停车位，来帮助解决停车问题等。它还有能力优化我们的废物收集路线，连接智能垃圾箱，节省时间、精力，提高市政工作效率。”

“电子信息技术和数据分析技术的进步为我们提供了更好地了解我们城市运作，及更有效地规划和提供服务的工具。但挑战不仅仅是我们如何改进我们的服务。技术发展还影响经济，建筑环境的设计，甚至居民与市政府之间的关系。“
