这两幅图片很好的显示了云登市当地中小学需求短缺的问题。我们需要努力倡导、呼吁我们应该有的公平的教育资源。
云登市增长区域的儿童小学比例仅为墨尔本大都会区平均数量的一半。 我们有很多学校已经有超收学生。 我们也将面临中学年龄儿童数量激增的问题。
通过市政府的研究，我们需要州政府尽快拨款建设以下学校：
- 在2018年，拓纳（Truganina）需要一个新的中学，现在已经过期
- 到2019年，维兰庭（Williams Landing）需要的一所小学
- 到2020年，库克角（Point Cook）需要一所新的小学
- 到2020年，塔尼特（Tarneit）需要一所新的小学，2023年需要另外一所小学
- 到2022年，图尼娜（Truganina）需要一个新的小学
- 到2023年，韦里比（Werribee）西部需要一所新的小学
- 到2023年，塔尼特（Tarneit）需要一所新的中学
这些新学校是基于2018/2019维州政府预算中已经公布的学校之外，另需要新建的学校。
云登市人口已经超越维州第二大城市吉朗（Geelong），但是还没有足够的学校来满足家庭对孩子教育的需求。 许多孩子拥挤在超过2000名学生的校园内。还有一些孩子面临长途的交通通勤，去到周边的市政区域上学。
云登市的人口持续高速增长，除非采取措施，否则云登市的儿童将继续经历低于平均水平的学校入学机会。

在过去四年：
✓ 建立了面向州政府的Schools4Wyndham宣传运动，为Williams Landing, Point Cook, Truganina争取更多的资金来建急需要的学校。
✓ 建立了面向联邦政府的ILoveKinder宣传运动，为幼儿园争取更多的运营资金。
✓ 制定并启用了《 2018-2023云登市学习城市战略》。
✓ 云登市于2019年成为联合国教科文组织学习城市。
