Tuesday, 7 May, 2019

Summary

The Service and Asset Policy and Framework has been developed to provide an overarching strategic approach to guide organisational decision making in relation to the future planning of services and assets to deliver public value.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 2 March 2019, the draft Service and Asset Policy and Framework was released for public exhibition for a period of 28 days until Wednesday 3 April 2019. The purpose of this report is to present the final Service and Asset Policy and Framework for adoption.

Key Issues

  • Planning for services and assets in a financially constrained environment
  • Balancing the current service and asset needs with anticipated future demands
  • Understanding end to end costs of services and assets
