Wyndham Coastal & Marine Management Plan 2020

SUMMARY

The Wyndham Coastal and Marine Management Plan (CMMP) has been prepared to guide the future planning and development of Wyndham’s coastline. The plan builds on the Draft Coastal & Marine Management Plan (2019) and the Wyndham Coastal Management Plan Issues & Opportunities Paper (2018). The CMMP is based on significant community engagement and collaboration with State planning agencies.

The document responds to the requirements of the Marine and Coastal Act 2018 and the Marine and Coastal Policy, 2020. The document requires Ministerial approval following referral to DELWP in accordance with coastal planning legislative requirements.

This report recommends adoption of the Wyndham Coastal & Marine Management Plan 2020-2025 and referral of the Plan to Department Environment Land Water and Planning (DELWP) for Ministerial approval.
