Education

Wyndham's population has been booming in the past 18 years, yet successive State Govs have not been building schools quickly enough. This trend has improved in the last few years, thanks to our hard advocacy, but we are still far behind.

Public Transport & Roads

Better public transport is the key to addressing road congestion issues and parking issues around train stations. Good reliable public transport improves liveability and productivity. It is key to a better local economy.

Economy & Jobs

Around 7 out of 10 employed residents leave Wyndham every morning to go to work outside of Wyndham. We need more local jobs and a better local economy, so residents can work closer to their homes, families and friends.

Community Safety

Our residents should feel safe at any time. This is one of the most important things for people's everyday life. We need more police, a new police station and more CCTV cameras.

Facilities & Services

We need to plan public facilities and services at locations as accessible as possible, so more people can visit the facilities and use the services they need without relying on a car.

Council Efficiency & Transparency

Operating a growth council under the rate capping environment is challenging. Working smarter and improving efficiency is key. Higher rates than necessary are not a solution for local families struggling to meet their costs of living.
