I commend the completion of this robust report and I am excited to see the opportunities identified for Council to pursue.
The delivery of these initiatives will play a major role in developing entrepreneurship and fostering the acceleration of start-up enterprises in Wyndham.
Most importantly as our local businesses grow, so does the capacity of the city to create new employment opportunities for our resident workers.
I congratulate Cr Walter Villagonzalo for his leadership in this field, I also share the same passion, the economic development team and everyone involved in this work.
I commend the recommendations of the report in terms of building a strong and sustainable economy and its alignment with the City Plan, Economic Growth Strategy and the Smart City Strategy.
